Veterans Networking Gala - December 9, 2019
The GI Go Fund will be hosting its annual Veterans Networking Gala on December 9, 2019 at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) in Newark.
Our annual Gala brings veterans, corporate leaders, and community partners together to meet and develop business relationships that will foster economic opportunities for our former military personnel. In addition, we will be honoring several corporate and community leaders who have made a difference in the lives of military veterans.
This year, we will also be honoring all the partners who helped make our Navy SEAL Hudson River Swim this past August the success that it was, raising over $200,000 to end veteran homelessness!
If you would like to attend the event, or for more information, you sign up on our Eventbrite page or call us directly at (973)802-1479.
Jeans for Troops -- November 2019
Join the millions of teachers and employees nationwide participating in the Jeans for Troops drive, the most popular dress down day for veterans.
Employers collect $5 or $10 donations from employees who would like to participate. Each participating employee is provided with a Jeans for Troops sticker to be worn as they dress down in jeans on Jeans for Troops Day.
Since 2011, we have promoted Jeans for Troops Drives honoring our military men and women all across America. We have had over 5,000 schools, companies, and government agencies participating in the program, including Panasonic, Johnson & Johnson, Realogy, Teleperformance, Paychex, PSEG and more.
Sign up and get involved in raising funds for a worthy cause! If jeans are not something your interested in, but would still like to participate in a dress down day to benefit military veterans, please contact us to sign up for our Red, White and Blue Day instead!
Stand Down for Homeless Veterans -- October 2019
One of the most critical ways in which GI Go Fund supports veterans is through the annual North Jersey Stand Down for Homeless Veterans. This event provides homeless veterans in the Newark and Northern New Jersey area with food, clothing, medical checkups, as well as housing, employment, and legal support.
This year they are looking for committed partners that can make the Stand Down as successful as possible, whether they are an organization looking to offer services to veterans in need or simply patriotic individuals looking to lend a hand to a veteran in need.
The next Stand Down will be held in the fall of 2019 in Newark, NJ.
