V.I.E. Transaction Management Specialist
ResponsibilitiesThe Transaction Management Team, part of Global Banking Technology & Operations (GBTO), is a key partner to GLBA's Front Office in supporting a wide range of financing and capital markets activities. The team is responsible for reviewing and analyzing legal documentation, modeling transactions within the LoanIQ platform, and managing all operational aspects of the deal closing process across multiple business lines within Société Générale's New York branch.As a member of the Transaction Management team, the VIE will support the execution and administration of financing transactions across multiple business lines. Key responsibilities include:Review credit approvals, legal documentation, and transaction structures in preparation for deal closings, ensuring that all facilities are accurately documented and aligned with approved termsEnsure compliance with internal credit policies, approval conditions, and operational control standards throughout the transaction lifecycleCoordinate with Front Office, Loan Servicing Teams, borrowers, lenders, legal counsel, and other stakeholders to gather, verify, and maintain all information required for successful deal executionSet up and maintain transaction, facility, and borrower data within LoanIQ, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of system recordsCreate, update, and monitor collateral information in LoanIQValidate transaction-related fees, including upfront fees, agency fees, commitment fees, and facility fees, in accordance with business instructions and accounting policiesPerform data quality reviews, investigate discrepancies, and coordinate the resolution of data and operational issuesContribute to process improvement initiatives, control enhancements, regulatory and audit requests, and other special projects as assignedAssist in the preparation of reporting and management information related to transaction activity, operational metrics, and data quality monitoringA questionnaire will be provided to you in order to check your VIE (Société Générale and Business France) eligibility.
